Australia’s premier forum connecting capital with clean energy opportunity.
Our annual flagship report compiling insights from CEIG members on the biggest barriers to renewable energy investment, the policy reforms needed to unlock new projects, and the outlook for Australia’s clean energy transition.
We wholly focus on long-term clean energy investment in Australia, and advocate for an efficient transition to a clean energy future on behalf of the investors who will provide the low-cost capital required for this transition.
CEIG represents domestic and global renewable energy developers and investors, with approximately 18GW of renewable energy capacity in the NEM across 139 power stations and a combined portfolio value of more than $41 billion. CEIG members’ project pipeline is estimated to be more than 150GW across Australia.
As federal, state and territory governments consider the future design of the National Electricity Market, CEIG has developed the Clean Energy Investor Principles, supported by expert modelling from Rennie Partners, to show we can unlock the low-cost capital Australia needs to accelerate the clean energy transformation.
